Music Introduction

(A Reference for Music Educators)
┬ęPending W. R. Pearce 4/03/03

This site has been designed as a tool for music educators everywhere. It is a compilation of information gathered from numerous sources and was built with the special learner in mind. Special learners enter our classroom everyday, and while we, the music educators are very passionate about sharing the world of music, all too often the special learners are overlooked or "worked around" purely because we are lacking in tools, knowledge and information about the child and their need.

It is hoped that this database serves as a tool for music educators as we strive to have music touch the lives of "every" student in our schools.

Feel free to add strategies that work for you to these pages.

To my wife and children who have endured all the long hours in my quest to bring this concept to reality in a very short amount of time.
To the numerous sites and organizations that have provided the warehouse of information and learning to me.
To the students who have come through my doors for 25 years and provided the inspiration for this project.
