Information on writing grants

There are several steps to successful grant-writing:

  1. Find funding sources. Some funders that support arts education are listed in the "Resources" section below.
  2. Write a grant proposal. Some tips for grant writing can be found in this document: Tips for writing grants.pdf
  3. Once you receive funding through a grant, immediately start to gather data and track your spending and progress. This will make it a lot easier to compile a final report that most funders require at the end of the grant period.
